1922 Original photograph of the two wizards of electricity as they work on their latest projects. Included are Thomas Edison and Charles Steinmetz. Steinmetz was a German-born American mathmetician, electrical engineer, and professor at Union College. He fostered the development of alternating current that made possible the expansion of the electric power industry in the USA, formulating mathmatical theories for engineers.  His groundbreaking discoveries revolutionized the industrial revolution; especially in the electric motor industry.
