1925 Bill McKechnie original TYPE I photo Leads the Pirates to World Series
| 1925 original photograph (6.5” x 8.5”) of Hall of Famer Bill McKechnie as he led his Pirates into the World Series against the Senators. Despite the way this photo would make it seem, McKechnie's bat had nothing to do with the victory! Cool photo as it mentions the series coming up on the back.
The photo has some pinholes but the image is clear and bold. Paper caption attached to the back along with a reference stamp dated Nov 11, 1925. A rare photograph we’ve never seen before.
