1975 American League Annual Season Pass – Red Sox – Nolan Ryan No-Hitter Eckersley Debut

Offered is an American League Annual Pass to All Parks (in the American league) that measures approximately 4” x  2.5” in size.  This was issued by the Boston Red Sox (starting in the 60’s – teams could give out Annual League passes).  This was issued to sportswriter, Tim Horgan (D. 2015) of the Boston Herald. Facsimile signed on front by Red Sox owner, Tom Yawkey and AL President, Lee MacPhail Jr.

This pass entitled the user to possibly witness -

Frank Robinson becoming the first African American manager in the Major Leagues (Cleveland Indians), Nolan Ryan’s no-hitter and 100th Major League win on the same day.

Rookie Debuts by future stars – Lyman Bostock, Mike Flanagan, Disco Dan Ford, Ron Guidry, Ozzie Osborn (and you thought he was just a rock star), Roy Smalley, and Pete Vukovich.

Hall of Famer – Dennis Eckersley debut

What makes this extra special is that the Red Sox would play in the World Series that year and get to witness Rookie of the Year and league MVP, Fred Lynn’s dream season
