EUGENE "GOO" KENNEDY 1974 ABA ST. LOUIS SPIRITS SIGNED PLAYERS CONTRACT
Official ABA player contract for the 1974 season with the St. Louis Spirits paying Kennedy $30,000 a season. Signed on the last page by Kennedy, Harvey Weltman Weltman who served as general manager of the Spirits of St. Louis in the American Basketball Association. He was also a co-owner of that team. Weltman later served as general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association. Also signed by 2 witnesses – Rudy Martzke (who was director of operations), sportswriter, and a broadcaster with the L.A. Clippers, and James (can’t make out last name)
