Frankie LeBlanc Signature Won Allan Cup Died 1942

This autographed album page measures 5"x4" and has a pencil signature of Frankie Le Blanc. Written above and below the signature in ink, probably by the person who obtained it, is "Ice Hockey Star for the Wembley Monarchs. Plays Center Ice." Frankie LeBlanc was born on May 29, 1908 in Dalhousie, New Brunswick. Frankie was known for being a skilled stick handler and starred on 8 different teams between 1929 and 1940 including the 1932-33 Monoton Hawks (Allan Cup Champions,inducted into NBSHF in 1970) and the 1938-39 Ottawa Senators. Frankie retired from competitive hockey in 1940 and tragically passed away on October 17, 1942 as a result of a duck hunting accident. RARE!!!
