Pie Traynor Signed Movie Contract with Loews – Pittsburgh Pirates HOF The first third baseman selected for Hall of Fame induction by the BBWAA, and the only man to steal home in an All-Star Game, Traynor served seventeen world-class seasons in the uniform of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He died in 1972.

Offered is an 8.5” x 11” one page agreement with Loew’s Incorporated allowing his image to be used in an upcoming photoplay. Dated 1-3-50 signed in blue ink, Harold “Pie” Traynor.

Additional document dated 1-11-50 from MGM relating to the movie mentions Jimmy Reese, Pie Traynor, and Lloyd and Paul Waner.
