MEL PETERSON 1963 NBA BALTIMORE BULLETS SIGNED PLAYERS CONTRACT

Mel Peterson- drafted by the Detroit Pistons, 11th round (4th pick, 78th overall), 1960 NBA Draft. He never actually played for them. He played for the Baltimore Bullets during the 1963-64 season and then in the ABA with the Oakland Oaks from 1967-69 and for the L.A. Stars during the 1969-70 season. This is his official NBA Baltimore Bullets 1963 contract paying him $11,000 plus $1,000 bonus. Signed on the last page by Peterson, Dave Trager (the Bullets owner), 2 witnesses – Velma Trager (wife of the owner), Curtis Larsen, and NBA president (and Basketball HOF’er) J. Walter Kennedy (D. 1977). Includes the original mailing envelope from the Bullets to Peterson and a contract letter/addendum signed by Peterson and GM of the Bullets – Paul Hoffman (D. 1998) RARE!!!!!
