Offered is a March 9, 1988 Knute Rockne First Day Issue postmarked postal cover signed by FOUR (4) deceased Pro Football Hall of Fame football coaches in blue sharpie ink.  Includes:

Weeb Ewbank (D. 1998) Only coach to win world championships in both NFL, AFL. . .His 1958, 1959 Colts won NFL crowns, 1968 Jets AFL, Super Bowl III titles. . .Took first pro head coach job at age of 47. . . Led both Colts, Jets to championships with patient, effective building programs paced by brilliant quarterbacks. . .Possessed great ability to judge, handle young talent. . .Coached 130 career wins.

Ray Flaherty (D. 1994) was inducted in the class of 1976. He compiled a 80-37-5 coaching record and won four Eastern division titles, two NFL titles with Redskins, and two AAFC divisional crowns with Yankees. He introduced the behind-the-line screen pass in the 1937 NFL title game. Also a first was the two-platoon system with one rushing and one passing unit. He played end with the Los Angeles Wildcats (first AFL), the New York Yankees, and the New York Giants. Flaherty was All-NFL in 1928 and 1932. He coached for Gonzaga, the 1936-1942 Boston/Washington Redskins, the 1946-1948 New York Yankees (AAFC), and the 1928-1929/1931-1935 New York Giants.

Sid Gillman (D. 2003) was an innovative coach and dynamic administrator. He's recognized as a leading authority on passing theories and tactics. Some stats: 18-year pro record: 123-104-7, first to win divisional titles in both NFL and AFL, won 1963 league, five division crowns in AFL's first six years. He was a major factor in developing the AFL's image, impetus, and respect. He was the AFC Coach of the Year in 1974. He played in the first college All-Star game in 1934. He was elected to the Pro Football HOF in 1983

Tom Landry -(D 2000) was an American football player and coach. He is legendary for his successes as the coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He is ranked as one of the greatest and most innovative coaches in National Football League (NFL) history, creating many new formations and methods. He invented the now popular 4-3 defense, and the "flex defense" system made famous by the "Doomsday Defense" squads he created during his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys.
