Waite Hoyt Baseball HOF 1927 Yankees Typed Letter Signed AUTO

Waite Hoyt (D. 1984) was one of the dominant pitchers of the 1920s, and the winningest pitcher for the New York Yankees during that decade. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. He was one of the aces of the 1927 Yankees and played in 3 World Series for the NY Yankees while enjoying a 20 year big league career. He then went onto a long time career as a broadcaster. Hoyt was never shy about his opinions.

Offered is a 7” x 10” typed letter signed (black ink) on Waite Hoyt’s letterhead that comes with the original envelope from May 30, 1975. Very interesting baseball autograph hobby content that Hoyt refers to the “pros” trying to make money off of his accommodation of autograph seekers.
