1938 Red Sox Signed Press Photo by Joe Vosmik (D.1962), Doc Cramer, & Ben Chapman

Offered is a 7x9 photo (TYPE I) with the Wide World Photos stamp on the back of these 1938 Red Sox stars.

Signed by the following:

Joe Vosmik (D. 1962 at age 51) this big leaguer played from 1930-44 for the Indians, Browns, Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers, and Senators.  He finished 3rd in the 1935 AL MVP race and was a member of the All-Star team that year.  He also helped the Dodgers win the pennant in 1941.

Roger Cramer (D. 1990) Doc was a 5 time All-Star from 1929-48 for the A’s, Red Sox, Senators, and Tigers.  He played in the 1945 World Series for the Tigers.

Ben Chapman (D. 1993) During the period from 1926 to 1943 he had more stolen bases than any other player, leading the American League four times. After twelve seasons, during which he batted .302 and led the AL in assists and double plays twice each, he spent two years in the minor leagues and returned to the majors as a National League pitcher for three seasons, becoming manager of the Philadelphia Phillies, his final team. Although he made his name as a fast, ferocious and hard-nosed player, that reputation was eclipsed by the racist role he played in 1947 as manager of the Phillies, opposing the presence of Jackie Robinson on a major league team on the basis of Robinson's race.'

One of a kind and rare!!!
