During the Babe’s days with Boston Red Sox, he had a farm about a mile from Maynard, MA. He would invite kids and young men from the town to hang out while he would entertain them by playing the piano. A young man from Maynard, Ralph Sheridan befriended Babe and maintained their friendship well past his Red Sox days.
Offered is an original 8x10 photo signed to the Babe from Ralph (Sheridan) that Ralph dated May 18, 1948 in steel tipped pen. Babe is pictured in his famous moleskin coat.
