Chuck Bednarik, nicknamed Concrete Charlie, was a professional American football player, known as one of the most devastating tacklers in the history of football and the last full-time two-way player in the National Football League. Charlie was a 2 time NFL Champion, 8 x Pro Bowler, 10 Time First team – All Pro, and a member of the NFL’s 75th Anniversary team. Bednarik played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1949 through 1962 and, upon retirement, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967 (his first year of eligibility).

Offered is an original TYPE I team issued 1950’s Eagles photo. This photo was used for his 1955 Bowman Football Card. Great shot!
