Heinie Manush Signed AUTO 3x5 Index Card Document Listing his Teams D.1971 Beckett BAS
Heinie Manush (D. 1971) was a hitting machine who consistently ranked among the game’s top batters throughout the 1920s and ’30s. Manush’s record included a batting title and four 200-hit seasons in his 17-year career. The left fielder played with six teams after breaking into the majors in 1923 with the Ty Cobb-led Detroit Tigers. He was inducted in the Baseball HOF in 1964.
Offered is a very unique 3” x 5” idex card signed by Manush in blue ballpoint ink that is stamped on the back August 1961. He filled in that he was a Major League Scout for Washington (Senators) in 1961 and then listed the teams he played for, his position, and number of years in the Major Leagues (he forgot to list a 1 before the 7 – as he played 17 years in the big leagues).
Very cool and unique piece that has been encapsulated AUTHENTIC by Beckett / BAS
