Jim McMahon, a charismatic and often controversial quarterback, played 15 seasons in the NFL, most famously with the Chicago Bears. Drafted fifth overall in 1982, he led the Bears to a Super Bowl XX victory in 1986. Known for his rebellious attitude and on-field talent, McMahon also played for the Chargers, Eagles, Vikings, Cardinals, Browns, and Packers, winning a second Super Bowl ring with Green Bay in 1997. Before his successful NFL career, McMahon was a three-sport letterman in high school and played both quarterback and punter at BYU, setting 71 NCAA records.
