Joe Charboneau Signed AUTO 8x10 Photo /w 80 AL ROY inscription Indians Tri-Star COA

Joe Charboneau, nicknamed "Super Joe," had a brief but memorable MLB career with the Cleveland Indians from 1980 to 1982. He burst onto the scene in 1980, hitting .289 with 23 home runs and 87 RBIs, earning American League Rookie of the Year honors. However, injuries, particularly a lingering back issue, derailed his career, and he played only 201 total MLB games—the fewest ever for a Rookie of the Year. Despite his short tenure, Charboneau became a cult figure for his eccentric personality and off-field antics. His legacy remains one of baseball’s most famous cases of the "sophomore jinx."
