Although Mickey Mantle signed a ton of autographs for collectors at card shows in the 1980’s and 90’s mostly on photos, index cards, and baseballs; one rarely finds an actual signed letter from Mantle; let alone during his baseball career.
Offered is an 8.5” x 11” typed letter signed circa 1956-57 (not dated, but matches up to autographs of that era). We’ve blocked out the original recipient’s address for privacy reasons. The actual letter does not have this area blocked out (as you can see on the PSA/DNA LOA).
Incredibly Rare!!! Imagine the joy this collector (who was a kid at the time) experienced when he received a letter in the mail back from the Mick.
