Steve Hamilton Circa 1958-60 Minneapolis Lakers Team Issued TYPE 1 Signed AUTO photo

Steve Hamilton (D. 1997) is one of only two people to have played in both a World Series and an NBA finals. (The other person is Gene Conley, who, unlike Hamilton, won both a World Series (in 1957 with the Milwaukee Braves) and an NBA finals (from 1959 to 1961 with the Boston Celtics). Conley is the only player to achieve both feats.)

He played in the Major Leagues (Baseball) for the Indians, Senators, Yankees, White Sox, Giants and Cubs from 1961-72.  He played for the Minneapolis Lakers from 1958-60 after being drafted out of Morehead State in 1958 (he was drafted by the Warriors in 1957, but didn’t sign with the team).

Offered is a very rare team issued 8x10 (stamped on back) original TYPE 1 photo signed in blue ink by Hamilton.  Photo had been mounted into a collector’s scrapbook at one point.  Gorgeous signed piece of art!
