1968 Martin Luther King Jr. Iconic Photo “Hotel Balcony in Memphis”
One of the most Important and powerful photographs of Martin Luther King Jr. as he stands on the Lorraine Hotel balcony in Memphis the day before he would be assassinated on this very spot! A spectacular 6” x 9.75 image in fine condition, this is stamped on the back from the day after King was killed. (Stamped April 5, 1968) with newspaper caption attached. Pictures King, Jesse Jackson, Ralph Albernathy, and to the far left is Hosea Williams. One of the few originals of this powerful image we have ever seen in any form.
