Albersheim's 2015 June Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/7/2015
The 1975 Pittsburgh Steelers was the second championship team in club history. This Steelers team entered the beginning of the season as defending champions for the first time in their 40 year history. The team was led by dominating defense and a quick offense that led them a Super Bowl X win over the Dallas Cowboys, 21-17.
- This 10K Balfour salesman sample ring measures a size 11.75 – 12 and weighs 43.6 grams (1.54 ounces). This is one of the heaviest rings (the gold is substantial in value – this is super heavy!).
- The inside band reads LGB 10K.
- The face holds twin faux diamonds (CZ) flanking miniature Lombardi Trophy along with two concentric rings that read “Pittsburgh Steelers” and “World Champions.”
- The left side is inscribed “Harris” above a Steelers logo.
- The right side reads “Super Bowl X” above a small star that’s ringed by the words “Steelers 21—Cowboys 17.”
This ring may be nicer than the one that was issued to Franco himself. This is a recommended beauty! Also a very seldom seen sample. MINT!
