1988 Chicago Bulls vs Boston Celtics 4/24 – Michael Jordan 46 Points Wins 2nd Scoring Title Ticket Stub PSA Pop 1

The Chicago Bulls last game of the regular NBA season was played on April 24, 1988 at the United Center in Chicago.  The Bulls would win the game 115 over the Boston Celtics 108.  The Bulls finished the season tied for 2nd place with the Atlanta Hawks in the Central Division behind the Bad Boys of Detroit.  The Bulls won the playoff tiebreaker and would go on to play the Cleveland Cavs in the Eastern Conference first round; winning that series before losing to the eventual World Champion, Detroit Pistons.

However, in this game (April 24, 1988), Michael Jordan who had averaged 35 points for the season, put 46 points up on the board to finish the season with a total 2868 points  (the second highest total of his career – he broke the 3000 point barrier for the only time in his career the previous season; which made him the only other player in NBA history to score 3000 points in a season besides Wilt Chamberlain who did it 4 times).

This very sought after Ticketron ticket from this historic game has been authenticated by PSA and graded a PSA 3 VG.
