Bob Horner was a power-hitting third baseman and first baseman who played in Major League Baseball from 1978 to 1988. He was drafted first overall by the Atlanta Braves and made an immediate impact, winning NL Rookie of the Year in 1978. Horner spent most of his career with the Braves, forming a strong offensive duo with Dale Murphy. He hit 218 home runs and maintained a .277 batting average. In 1986, he became the 11th player in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game. Horner also played one season in Japan before finishing his career with the St. Louis Cardinals
