Bobby Beathard (Deceased) was an American professional football executive who was a general manager for the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). Over the course of his 38 years in the NFL, his teams competed in seven Super Bowls (winning four), beginning with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1966, the Miami Dolphins in 1972 and 1973, the Redskins in 1982, 1983, and 1987, and the Chargers in 1994. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
Derrick Faison (D. 2004 at age 36 from a heart attack) was a wide receiver out of Howard University. He played two seasons for the Rams (1990-1991), and then played briefly for the San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers before retiring.
Offered is a San Diego Chargers Payroll check from June 10, 1992 made out to Derrick Faison (signed on the back by him) and by HOFer, Bobby Beathard on the front.
Faison is an incredibly tough autograph to find due to his untimely death and brief NFL career.
