Brooks Robinson (deceased), nicknamed "The Human Vacuum Cleaner," played his entire 23-year MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles (1955–1977). Widely regarded as the greatest defensive third baseman in history, he won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards, an AL MVP (1964), and was a World Series MVP (1970). Robinson was an 18-time All-Star and helped the Orioles win two World Series titles (1966, 1970). His 2,870 games at third base remain an MLB record. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983, Robinson’s legacy is defined by his defensive brilliance and unwavering loyalty to Baltimore.
