Jack Morris, a Hall of Fame pitcher elected in 2018, was a dominant force on the mound for 18 MLB seasons, primarily with the Detroit Tigers. A five-time All-Star, he was known as a fierce competitor and a big-game pitcher. Morris won three World Series championships (1984, 1991, 1992) and was the 1991 World Series MVP, famously pitching a 10-inning shutout in Game 7. He led the AL in wins twice (1981, 1992) and in strikeouts in 1983. Morris also pitched a no-hitter in 1984 and holds the MLB record for consecutive Opening Day starts with 14. He finished his career with 254 wins.
