Albersheim's 2015 November Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/14/2015
Nate Newton played 16 years of professional football, mostly with the Dallas Cowboys. He went from being an undrafted free agent out of Florida A&M to becoming a 3x Super Bowl Champion (with the Cowboys) and 6 Time Pro Bowl monster. During his career he went 6’3” and 335 lbs. In fact, he was so big that he was nicknamed “the Kitchen” because he was bigger than the “Fridge,” of Chicago Bears fame.
Offered is a size 15 Converse Turf Pro XL D game worn cleat that Newton wore and gave to a photographer at a Pro Bowl. Newton signed the inside of the cleat #61 in blue sharpie pen. There is virtually nothing out there in terms of game used material on Newton.
He’s most likely a future Pro Football HOFer selection
COA from the photographer who obtained the cleat.
