Basca(D. 1944) played halfback for Villanova and went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1941. He enlisted in the Army after the Pearl Harbor attack and was eventually assigned as a tank commander in the 4th Armored Division. He was killed instantly when his tank was struck by an anti-tank round after four months in combat.

We offer a team sheet signed in dark pencil by 10 members of the 1941 Eastern All-Stars who played the NY Giants team in the 6th Annual NY Herald Tribune All-Star game that was played at the Polo Grounds. This comes with the original envelope which has been mounted onto a scrapbook page which contains photos of 8 of the 10 signors. In addition to Basca, this has been signed by:
