Harold "Happy" Hairston (d 2001) played for the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. He was a member of the 1971–72 NBA championship Lakers, a team that won 33 games in a row, a record not duplicated in any other American professional sport. He played professionally for the Cincinnati Royals and Detroit Pistons before joining the Lakers in 1969.
This is a GPC signed and personalized by Hairston that reads “To Bruce With Best Wishes Happy Hairston.” It measures 5.5” x 3.5”. Additionally, a circular photo, with a 1.5” diameter, of Hairston is attached in the lower left corner. On the bottom near the photo in black pen is printed, Happy Hairston. There are mounting traces on the address side. The postal stamp is dated Feb 6, 1967.
