In 1989, a documentary was produced by Ion Pictures entitled, “Champions Forever.” There was a movie style poster issued and there was a more informal poster that was issued for this monumental film. This was the other version of the poster which captures the essence of these champion boxer’s personalities in their post pugilistic days. The poster measures approximately 16” x 20” and has been double matted in gold and red (similar to the Everlast Boxing colors) to an overall size of 20” x 24.” The pictured boxers include: Ken Norton, George Frazier, Larry Holmes, Joe Frazier, and Muhammad Ali. All have signed in gold ink. There’s some surface creasing.
With Frazier and Norton gone, this piece can never be duplicated.
