Anthony Robert "Tony" Canadeo (d 2003 - HOF) was a halfback and quarterback for the NFL's Green Bay Packers from 1941 to 1944 and 1946 to 1952, having missed the 1945 season while serving in the United States Army during World War II. Canadeo played college football at Gonzaga University in Spokane, where he was first known as the "Gray Ghost of Gonzaga ," due to his prematurely graying hair. Canadeo's number was retired by the Packers in 1952. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1974.

Cecil Frank Isbell (d 1985) played with Green Bay from 1938 to 1942 and was best known for passing to Don Hutson. Isbell led the Packers to the NFL Championship in 1939. After retiring from playing, Isbell served as the head football coach at his alma mater, Purdue, for three seasons from 1944 to 1946, compiling a record of 14–14–1. He then coached the Baltimore Colts of the All-America Football Conference from 1947 to 1949, and the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League for two games in 1951. Isbell was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1967.

Herm Rohrig (d 2002) played three seasons for the Packers in 1941 and 1946-47. Hal Van Every (d 2007) played 21 games for the Green Bay Packers in 1940 and 1941 and retired in 1941.

In this original 10x8 photo, the four Packers leap into the air about to throw off the bombs!!! Really nice clarity and detail in this shot! The players’ names are printed on the bottom of the front. There are some pencil and pen notations on the back. A few very minor flaws common to nearly all working press photos, including a couple light creases and small dents, with one larger crease on the bottom left corner. Unique shot!!
