Offered is a partial team sheet that measures approximately 5” x 2” in size. There are 4 autographs signed in blue steel tipped pen from members of the 1937 New York Giants (NFL) football team. All of the players listed their colleges after their signatures.
Autographs include:
Len Grant (D. 1938 at the age of 32 when he was struck by lightning while playing golf). Played for the 1930-37 NY Giants (including their 1934 NFL championship team). He was a star tackle on the team and was set to report to training camp the following week (in August) when he met his untimely demise. Super rare autograph!
Dale Burnett (D. 1997) 2 x NFL champion with the NY Giants (1934 & 1938), Pro Bowl 1938, and NFL receiving Touchdowns co-leader (1933)
Kink Richards (D. 1976) 2 x NFL champion with the NY Giants (1934 & 1938), Pro Bowl 1938, and NFL receiving Touchdowns co-leader (1933) – almost identical career as Dale Burnett
Ed Danowski (D. 1997) QB for the NY Giants out of Fordham (later Fordham head coach from 1946-54). 2 x NFL champion with the NY Giants (1934 & 1938), 2 X first team all-pro, 1 x 2nd team, 1938 Pro Bowl, 2 X NFL passing rating leader and completes leader. Danowski was one of the earlier NFL stars.
