Offered is a 3.5” x 2.5” (approximate size) original deckle-edged snapshot photograph that had been mounted onto a black piece of construction paper. The back reads Cuban AAA. The players are identified as Favello, Sagua, Williams, Gomez, and Handerson.
The players are wearing various team uniforms, but one of the players is wearing a New York Cubans jersey. The NY Cubans were part of the Negro Leagues for 14 years (1935-36, 1939-50). In 1937-38, they played independently.
