Offered is an original AP Type III photo that measures 7x9 inches that derives from the San Francisco Examiner Reference Library dated 9-30-51 of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame Slugger Jackie Robinson and Manager Charlie Dressen after Robinson's 14th inning home run lifted the Dodgers to a 9-8 win in Philadelphia against the Phillies, saving their pennant chances on the last day of the regular season. Very nice clarity on this photograph and from the actual time period.
