The Ft. Wayne Pistons played the Knicks at MSG on 12/4/1954 and went home with a 90-88 victory. Shown is 1948 NBA Rookie of the Year, Paul Hoffman of the Knicks (Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame) driving against the Pistons, Larry Foust, who had 24 points that night. Larry Foust is the only man to have appeared in 8 NBA All-Star games that is not currently in the Basketball HOF. Behind Foust is future Basketball Hall of Famer, George Yardley.
