Killer photo features two future Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers battling it out in a double-header roundball game at Madison Square Garden. Great shot showing Celtics players sitting on the bench in the background with the official scorer’s table to the left.
The Celtics won a close game against St. Louis 108-107. Pettit had 24 pts and 11 TRB that night.
