New York lost in the first round to the Syracuse Nationals, two games to none.

We offer a NY Knicks home program from November 16, 1958.  All pages intact, binding tight, no torn out pages.  Loaded with photos, stats, articles, unscored.  Signed on the cover by Knicks All-Star, Kenny Sears who owns the distinction of being the first basketball player to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.  This came out of a former player’s collection.

The Knicks beat the Lakers 98-90 at Madison Square Garden.  Charlie Tyra led the Knicks with 22 points, Willie Naulls 19, and Carl Braun 15.  The Lakers were led by rookie Elgin Baylor with 18 points, Dick Garmaker and Jim Krebs with 15, and Hot Rod Hundley with 11 points.

Kenny Sears had 10 points, but had to leave the game when his eye was cut by Elgin Baylor’s fingernail.  Nice example with a great autograph on the cover from Kenny Sears.

NY high school powerhouse, De La Salle played St. Michael’s on the undercard.
