1959 Philadelphia Warriors Syracuse Nationals basketball program Chamberlain 37 pts

Wilt Chamberlain made his NBA debut on October 24, 1959 and professional basketball was never the same. We offer this EX-NR MT program that dates from just his 13th NBA game in his career.  The Warriors beat the Syracuse Nationals 114-103. Wilt Chamberlain put up 37 points for the Warriors, while HOF’er – Paul Arizin scored a total of 28 points, Joe Graboski with 17, and HOF’er – Tom Gola had 16 points.  Larry Costello led the Nats with 22 points, while HOF’ers George Yardley – 17 – Dolph Schayes with 14 points and Johnny Red Kerr put in 14 points in this losing effort.

The game was played at the Camden Convention Hall in New Jersey and drew a full capacity crowd of 3,345 fans.
