November 2016 Auction

Pendleton Woolen Mills has been a staple of wool blankets for over 150 years. They are best known for their Native American Designs. In the 1960’s, the Los Angeles Rams commissioned this company to make HUGE wool blankets for the team. We’re not sure if these were sold to the fans or given to the players to keep warm on the sidelines when they played in cold weather places.
On their website, new blankets today run $100-300 (and these aren’t team issued NFL blankets)
Offered is Deacon Jones personal 48” x 68” with the Rams logo and vintage 60’s tagging.
