1970 Baltimore Colts World Champions Banner that Flew Over Memorial Stadium PHOTO MATCHED

One year after famously falling victim to Joe Namath and the Jets, the Baltimore Colts returned to the Super Bowl and shot down the Cowboys. Here's a fabulous piece that measures 68” x 48” (Housed within 52.5"x74.5" frame) from that special season:  a banner comprised of the finest quality satiny parachute-type material (nylon) with sewn-on letters attesting to the rich craftsmanship. Complete with an amazing image of the franchise's signature helmet. It reads: "BALTIMORE COLTS 1970 WORLD CHAMPIONS"

This was later used during a press conference given by Robert Irsay with a press photo from the Baltimore Sun archives when Irsay was stating that the Colts were not moving out of Baltimore in 1983.  Photo is attached to banner.

The press photo shows the exact folds that are seen on the banner in person. Perfect photo match.
