Super Bowl XXVIII was played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia where the Dallas Cowboys would once again prove their NFL dominance (back to back NFL Championships) with their destruction of the Buffalo Bills on January 30, 1994 by a score of 30-13. It was their 4th Super Bowl in team history.

The 1993 Season was another feather in the cap of dynasty known as America’s team. Troy Aikman would finish the regular season by completing 271 out of 392 passes for 3,100 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Emmitt Smith recorded 1,486 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns, while catching 57 passes for 414 yards and another touchdown, earning him the NFL Most Valuable Player Award. Once again, future HOFer & Pro Bowler Michael Irvin, was the team's leading wide receiver with 88 catches for 1,330 yards and 7 touchdowns. The above mentioned accolades are just a few stellar accomplishments that these Super Bowl champions achieved during that storybook season.

Much of the credit for their success came on the backs of Pro Bowl offensive lineman, Erik Williams, Mark Stepnoski, and Nate Newton. Without these this legendary gridiron players, none of this would have happened.

According to Wikipedia, “In 1992, after becoming the Cowboy's starting right tackle, he earned national recognition when he held Reggie White without a sack in a 20-10 Dallas win, earning the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week award. Nicknamed "Big E", by 1993, his physical play and aggressive attitude that was rarely seen on the offensive side of the ball, made him the top offensive lineman in the NFL. These traits were mentioned by Michael Strahan in his Professional Football Hall of Fame enshrinement speech”

This size 15 Balfour 10k ring was the ultimate prize for the best offensive lineman during the 1993 NFL season. This beautiful prized treasure shows some wear as Erik occasionally wore this out to events, but for the most part it stayed locked away in a safe until now. We’d conservatively grade this monumental piece of Super Bowl history a 9 out of 10. It weighs a whopping 58.3 grams. On top of all that, there are 40 diamonds on the face of the ring. There are four (4) marque diamonds that measure in at 2.25 carats, Twenty-four (24) 2mm diamonds at .75 and twelve (12) 1.5mm diamonds at .25 for a whopping 3.25 total carats of diamonds! WOW!!!!

Up until this period in time, this may be the most ornate ring in Super Bowl history. Based on our research, only two other player rings (regular season roster) have ever come up for public auction. None of the players were starting players, let alone super stars. This is your chance to own the ring of one of the most dominant offensive lineman of the 1990s and possible future HOFer. We cannot stress enough how important this ring is in the spectrum of Dallas Cowboys and NFL history!

COA Erik Williams.
