Offered is this Milwaukee Braves program that was pulled apart (all pages intact) to be placed in a 3-ring binder (this may have been owned by a sportswriter). Ticket stub from the game is taped to the front cover.
The Braves and Dodgers split the doubleheader with each team winning a game a piece. The Dodgers won the opener 4-3 in 11 innings. Carl Erskine got the win, while Warren Spahn took the L. Jackie Robinson went 1 for 4 with 1 RBI and 1 walk. Eddie Mathews (34th of the season and 59th HR of his career) & Del Crandall had home runs in this losing effort.
The Braves won the 2nd game with Harry Hanebrink’s bases-loaded triple with two outs in the 9th for a 3-2 victory. Don Liddle was the WP and Russ Meyer took the L. Duke Snider hit his 21st HR of the season. Jackie Robinson went 0 for 3 with 1 walk.
