On May 1, 1962, Goss tragically died in a car crash on his way home from a Colts media dinner at the age of 49. He had been a staple of Baltimore TV and radio sports for 20 years. He was a part of the original 1954 Orioles broadcast team with Ernie Harwell in 1954 and continued on in that role through the 1956 season. He also was one of the original broadcasters with the Baltimore Colts including their 1958 and 1959 championship seasons.
Offered is a very rare signed album page in blue ballpoint ink that measures 5” x 4.5”
