“Romo” had a 16 year career in the NFL that brought him two Pro Bowl selections and spent 25% of career as a Super Bowl Champion (he played in 4 Super Bowls). His first one as a young linebacker was with the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIII that was played on January 22, 1989.
Offered are a pair of size 12 Puma game worn cleats from the game signed on the outside of each shoe in black sharpie. These were obtained by a photographer who shot the game and did a trade with Romanowski by getting a shot of Romo with Christie Brinkley. Nice wear from a historic game and the beginning of his career.
Note: We believe we have photo matched Romanowski wearing these very exact cleats a month before the Super Bowl in a December 11, 1988 game.
