We offer an original circa 1940 photograph of a New York Giants FOOTBALL team practice showing the legendary Center MEL HEIN doing jumping jacks on the practice field with teammates. Hein is wearing his #7 Jersey with football pants and high-top cleats. The two teammates in the background are wearing New York Giants sweatshirts & football uniform pants. They are somewhere outdoors exercising with their arms extended in the air. Hein (1909-1992) was a terrific, all time great Center for the New York Giants from 1931 to 1945. He is in the NFL professional Hall of Fame in addition to the college football Hall. He played his college ball at Washington State College, for the Cougars from 1928-1929 and 1930. This terrific photo measures 10 inches by just over 8 inches wide.
