George Preston Marshall (D. 1969) was one of the charter members of the Pro FB HOF. He acquired the Boston franchise in 1932 and moved the team to Washington in 1937. He was flamboyant, controversial, and an innovative master showman. He pioneered gala halftime pageants, organized the first team band, sponsored progressive rule changes including the splitting of the NFL into two divisions with a title playoff in 1933. He produced six division titles and two NFL titles from 1936-1945.
We offer a signed check cut that has been affixed to a 3x5 card. Unlike most check cuts that you find out there on Marshall (if you can locate one), this one has no tape whatsoever on the autograph. Nice clean autograph! RARE!!!
PSA/DNA encapsulated.
