Jim Kaat was a left-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1959 to 1983. Over his 25-year career, he pitched for the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, and St. Louis Cardinals. Kaat won 283 games and was a three-time All-Star. He captured 16 Gold Glove Awards, showcasing his defensive prowess. In 1982, he won a World Series with the Cardinals. Known for his durability, Kaat pitched over 4,500 innings and maintained a 3.45 ERA. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022.
Offered is a gorgeous 8x10 color photo of Jim Kaat signed at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Atlantic City in 2016. Kaat signed his name in blue sharpie ink along with the inscriptions “3X AS, 16 X GG” (3 time all-star and 16 time gold glove).
