Joe Theismann is a former NFL quarterback celebrated for his leadership and flair on the field. After a stellar college career at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a Heisman Trophy finalist, Theismann began his professional career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Toronto Argonauts before joining the Washington Redskins in 1974.
