Sims was an offensive guard in the NFL for 11 seasons (1990-2000) for the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins. He was one of the better offensive guards in the NFL during the 1990s and was selected to 3 straight Pro Bowls from 1993-95.
This Miami Dolphins helmet manufactured by Riddell features two warning stickers for this VSR-4 helmet and has #69 written in black ink in the interior of the helmet. It’s missing the two interior ear pads. There is a code number engraved inside the helmet 93116845. The right and left side of the helmet feature the Miami Dolphin mascot logo decals. The back of the shell features the numbers “6” and “9” with the warning label sticker on one side, the NFL label on the orange stripe, a Dolphins label at the lower back of helmet, and an R for Riddell sticker on the lower right backside of helmet. The helmet shows nice wear and is consistent with available images.
This helmet was presented to us by 4x Pro Bowl Dallas Cowboys Offensive Tackle, Erik Williams, as having been received from Keith Sims at the 1993 Pro Bowl
