Although Mickey Mantle signed a ton of autographs in the 80’s and 90’s on the show circuit (which yielded even more autographs i.e. – forgeries); Mantle was never a big “through the mail” autograph.
Hence, why we can only recall a handful of Mantle signed gpc’s that we’ve seen enter the hobby in the past 40 years. Usually when they do show up, they’re often personalized (on those very rare occasions that they are even offered for sale). When we were offered this signed gpc postmarked December 6, 1972 from Dallas, TX; we jumped at the chance.
This black felt tipped pen ink signature that has been personalized to Wayne is encapsulated by PSA/DNA authentic.
