NFL Hall of Famer Ron Mix produced this 116 card set in 1998 but released it in 1999. This was #339 in a series of 2500. Each card features an artist's rendering of a Hall of Fame football player. These attractive, full color 4" by 6" cards were signed by the players and issued in factory set form only. Production was limited to 2500 sets with each card hand-numbered. Of the 116 cards, two players only signed their first name -- Sid Gillman and Doak Walker. The Doak Walker signature was apparently done after his tragic skiing accident.
This was a factory sealed set that our consignor actually opened up out of curiosity. The quality did not disappoint. The set is simply awesome. Fantastic breakup value or keep as a complete signed set (all the cards that could possibly be signed, have been signed). The cards remain in a like-new state, all ranging NM-MT condition.
