September 28, 1968 US Olympic Basketball team vs New York Knicks program

Basketball contests at the 1968 Summer Olympics took place at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico from October 13 to October 25, 1968. The United States defeated Yugoslavia to win their seventh straight gold medal in this sport, while the Soviet Union earned the bronze against Brazil.

After playing two exhibition games against the University of Albuquerque and and one with Southern Colorado State College the US Olympic basketball team played three games against NBA competition before heading to Mexico City for the Olympic Games.
